We are delighted to have brought Ceriinan Pandora to Aritaur (Fin Imp) into our home. Pandora is from the internationally renowned Ceriinan kennel of Anja Nikkonen.

With a back problem plaguing me, I had been thinking about a smaller breed to run parallel with the Dobes for some years. The right breed never really came along for me - I didn't want a toy breed, nor all the grooming which goes with a terrier breed, I love and grew up with gundogs but I need a dog with the lights on full up top! Having always had an interest in Pinschers, I was browsing one day on the Dabney's website, I saw their Finnish import Clefell's Jaguar and was captivated. Martin had shown the Leggett's Pinschers a couple of times to help out so I knew it might not be hard work to persuade him! Clefell Jaguar's pedigree led me to find 'Dora' from the famous Ceriinan kennels of Anja Nikkonen, Finlands' top breeders, and Karen and I flew to Finland early 2009 to choose Dora. Grateful thanks to Marcel and Ella for so kindly caring for Dora who now thinks all gundogs are all great friends.

Best Puppy In Breed Crufts 2010 - well there were no other puppies entered, but we enjoyed winning the class anyway!

Pinschers are a minority breed especially in the UK, and there are no CC's (Challenge Certificates) in the UK for the breed - eg Pinschers cannot at this time become UK Champions. Dora has now been joined in the UK by her new friend Sassy - Legacy's Wishful Thinking via Aritaur (US Imp) owned by our good friends Colin & Karen Wakefield and will very soon be joined by Dave & Gay Clarkes new girl Lindt - Duffyco's Va Bene via Aritaur (Ger Imp) who comes to the UK at the beginning of June . We are looking forward to some good showing and enjoyable trips to Europe together showing the Pinschers and Dobes.

I took Dora to Amsterdam Winners show for a chance to qualify her for Crufts 2010 which we wanted for her breeder Anja. Rather out of luck we arrived to find one of the biggest entries of Pinschers for years - with 40 Pinschers! I had put Dora in Junior which was a qualifying class, but at 10 months old she was very immature against the other four females and was placed 3rd - at least with an Excellent grading for a puppy.

One week later I entered Dora at LKA Ch show Dec 2009, where she won Best AVNSC (Any Variety Not Separately Classified) Puppy and Reserve Best Bitch and under Judge Michael Coad.
At Crufts 2010 Dora was the only youngster and won Best Puppy In Breed under Judge Elina Hapaniemi
At WPBAW Ch show on 17th April 2010, Dora won Best of Breed under Judge Bill Browne-Cole.

Although she is the smallest in the house (apart from the cat), Dora thinks she is actually the biggest - Honey holds ground well against Dora's attempt to take the whole bed.

Dora really enjoyed seeing all her friends and especially her breeder Anja Nikkonen at Crufts in March.

Thank you Anja & Marisa, she is utterly wicked but you know how much we adore her and she makes us laugh every day!
